Daytime protection
In the 1950s Elisabeth Sigmund followed a hunch. She started studying kidney vetch (Anthyllis vulneraria) and tested the plant in care products she manufactured herself. Her intuition proved right: the meadow flower – almost unknown at the time – was to become the most important medicinal herb in Dr.Hauschka Skin Care products.
Kidney vetch is special for its balancing powers. Whether greasy, blemished, dry or sensitive: kidney vetch helps restore the skin to its natural, balanced state.
Since at different stages our skin needs different amounts of oil, four preparations were created which, alone or in combination, offer the right day care for all skin states.
